Quantum Step Payton’s Awakening took decades to go from a dream to a book. The obvious question: what comes next?
The short answer is that Payton’s story is just getting started. Book One opens the door — the war across parallel worlds is bigger than what fits in a single volume, and there are threads in this book that don’t get tied up. They’re not supposed to. Not yet.
Book 2, Quantum Step Nexus Reborn, is currently in the outlining stage. I’ll share frequent updates as the writing progresses.
Here’s what I can promise: Quantum Chronicles is where you’ll hear about it first. As Book Two takes shape, I’ll share progress updates, lore deep-dives that didn’t fit in Book One, and behind-the-scenes looks at how the universe keeps growing.
The best way to follow along is Quantum Pulse, my newsletter — story updates and news from the expanding Quantum Step Adventure, straight to your inbox. https://staging.johnkaess.com/quantum-pulse/
Thank you for being here at the beginning. The best part of building a universe is sharing it.
